After lunch, some of us went with Mr. Niles to check the sugar maple trees that will soon be tapped for maple syrup! We got to clamp the secondary line, cut it with tough shears, and add a new tap! We loved being able to enjoy the snow at this time too!
Then, we met back up with the whole group to head to the dairy barn. We got to feed the cows grain and hay. They really love grain!! Finally, we each milked the cow Arlington! She walked some of us with her tail, but it was awesome! Most of us were really nervous, but we ALL DID IT!
