ETA is between 6:15 and 6:30

We are on the Whitestone bridge about to enter Queens. We should be back at school between 6:15 and 6:30!

ETA is between 6 and 6:30

We will update again in an hour! We are in Croton Falls. We’re watching The Book of Life and loving it!

Last day:(

It’s Friday, March 8th and we have to leave the farm today. We had morning farm chores in the cheese house, seeing how the cheese is made and coating some of the cheese with good bacteria. This is the red team getting all ready to work!

To the dairy barn!

For the Yellow teams last day or morning chores, we headed down to the dairy barn. Our first task was to unhook the cows, and let them go outside!  We then had to clean out the barn: we swept, raked, and shoveled. After that we filled the stalls with fresh sawdust, and fed all the cows new hay!

The last morning chores and the awards ceremony!

Even though it was our last morning, there was still work to be done! The purple team went to the calf barn to feed the calves and give them milk. Then, we packed up, had a delicious breakfast and packed up some more. We wrapped up our spectacular farm trip with an awards ceremony! Everyone got an ear tag and a t-shirt, as well as a TON of high fives!

On our way!

We are currently in Greenfield, MA which is 186 miles from NYC! The GPS is telling us that we should arrive at the school at 5:30, but that may change! We will keep you posted on our arrival!
